 1. Drill a small hole into each end of the wooden oval piece. 2. Basecoat wooden pieces black. 3. Cut out clovers from paper and mod podge to ovals. Add a top coat of mod podge. 4. Using scissors or craft knife, cut 3 pieces of basswood to fit inside of the bookplates and paint them licorice. Add a top coat of mod podge. After they are dry, hot glue them to the back of bookplates. Next hot glue black jems to center of bookplates. 5. Using the pliers, add the jump rings.
