1. Wipe Oak stain onto entire bowl using shop rag. Let dry.2. Double load #12 flat brush with Turner’s Yellow and Fresh Foliage. Paint pear.
3. Double load #12 with Engine Red and Pure Magenta. Paint apple slightly overlapping pear.
4. With the red still in brush, stroke at blossom end of pear for the slight “blush”.
5. Double load #12 with Pure Magenta and Turner Yellow. Paint Plums and grapes.
6. Double load #12 with Fresh Foliage and Thicket. Paint stems and leaves.
7. Load Script Liner with thinned Burnt Umber and paint scrolling vines. Paint end of pear with bud and lines.
8. Load ¾” flat brush with Engine Red. Lay brush on flat side at evenly spaced intervals along top edge.
9. Optional step: For greater durability, paint or spray a varnish or lacquer sealer over project.
